Dr. Mullins has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Somerset community for over 30 years. He had a pioneering passion for small animal surgery and medicine in an era when veterinarians were primarily livestock docs, and took care of dogs and cats on the side. Dr. Mullins’s vision of creating a high quaility small animal practice laid the foundation for what Midway Veterinary Hospital is today. |

Those who know Dr. Jasper appreciate that he is truly an expert in his field. Due to his ongoing drive to learn, advanced orthopedic surgery techniques and chemotherapy protocols that were previously only available at referral and university institutions are commonplace at Midway. |

A native of Nancy, Kentucky, Dr. Cosson returned to her home community after graduating from Auburn University. Since then, her compassion for pets and clients has helped Midway Veterinary Hospital grow year after year. |

The Drs. Mullins joined Midway in 2002. David, a Somerset native, and Cynthia, raised in Montgomery, Alabama, moved back to the place where David grew up cleaning cages. They are proud and excited to practice with David’s father and the rest of the team at Midway. |

Just like an old friend, Dr. Prather has rejoined Midway Veterinary Hospital. Patty worked as an assistant at Midway when it first opened, practiced here after graduation from vet school, and recently returned to her Midway “home” as a staff veterinarian once again. |
